Indonesia was struck by an earthquake on Wednesday afternoon, Indonesia time. A warning center issued a tsunami warning not long after the quake hit the island of Sumatra. Indonesia’s president, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyuno, says that the earthquake and the tsunami warning caused a little bit of panic. Mitree Jongkraijak says that the evacuation went well, as planned.
